Suiting and Tops

All you need for a polished urban look in springtime is a blazer. In this office or on Zoom, the blazer is the perfect professional style booster. Your business look can be either that or a suit that you can mix match. Around the city, this blazer also works with a T-shirt and jeans. Tailoring creates a silhouette that is always chic and imposing. It is figure-slimming and elongating. In white or pastels, a suit or blazer looks really impressive. Dresses are sometimes elaborate pieces with lots of details, motifs, and embellishments. Yet as your all- time-classics, the Little Black Dress (LBD) or a slip dress in any color will get you to any party, as long as you are wearing jewelry and high heels. We love the simplicity of the slip dress, but designers have turned it from loungewear item to a fashion statement. Supermodels loved it in the 90s, and downtown girls are still wearing under a biker jacket or a light coat. As for the LBD, it doesn’t need further introduction. The more LBDs you have, the fastest you can dress up for your date or event. A simple dress is transformable, adjusting to your mood and the occasion.

Fine-quality tops, skirts, and pants with minimum details and in colors that you find easy-to-mix will save the day. They further align with this season’s quest to simplify your lifestyle and find real comfort. Your closet should be rich in such pieces because they make the styling process more manageable. Take a nice cropped top or a shirt, combine it with an A-line skirt, shorts, or palazzo pants and top it off with fashionable accessories. Busy women don’t have the luxury to ponder over what to wear, but they deserve to look amazing. Create your favorite palette of colors, pick great fabrics, and play with all of them on a daily basis. Avoid extreme silhouettes that may not easily work together.
